This sparkly Nanette Lepore dress that I bought a few years back in L.A. is one of my very favorite outfits of all time--and this picture is one of my very favorite snapshots. (Exhibit A, B, and C: I used the photo over there to the right, as well as for my profile pic in, oh, basically every social media platform that I'm on.) And the dress is a big part of the reason: It's glittery, it's fun, and I feel special every time I put it on. But recently I saw the dress in my closet and wondered: What would it look like if it were a manicure? (Yes, these are the odd places that my beauty-obsessed brain goes.) Well, I decided to find out. Using my beloved frock as inspiration, I had my nails painted with Essie's cool teal School of Hard Rocks (it was a near perfect match), and then topped that off with few carefully placed bronze Erikonail sequins for a sparkly but subtle finish. Below you can behold the results: My dress--as my latest manicure.

I love this, Alyssa! The dress is gorgeous, as are the nails. I just got some very similar sequins - may need to play copy cat!
