It's amazing what the right accessories can do, no? For the weekend outfit seen here, I threw on a baggy plaid top and a favorite pair of jeans*, but it looked a little blah. So, I added a vintage rhinestone necklace that I recently bought on eBay for like $9 (I'm super into the plaid/bling juxtaposition lately), and a few pops of color with an aqua bag and hot pink nail polish. Shlubby-outfit overhaul complete.
*By the way, have you tried DL 1961 jeans? You must. When the woman in the store told me that they never stretch out even the tiniest bit, I didn't really believe her, but I bought them anyway and she was totally right. They fit exactly the same way all the time (even after washing and drying, even after wearing them a zillion times in a row), and they're super flattering on the butt to boot. Love.

I just got a pair of DL1961s. They are a little tight (doubling up on gym sessions,) but I love them! The stretch is good - and they don't look like stretch jeans.
