Considering the name of this blog, it will probably come as no surprise to anyone that I am all about breaking out sequins during the day, any day. (I mean, they're way too much of a good time to save for weekend evenings, right?!) To make glittery stuff like this silver sweater work for day though, I've found that it does help to mix in some tough, more casual pieces like these lug-sole booties or a great leather bracelet. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't just go all in every now and then and gild the lily with a rhinestone necklace. (Guilty...!) The most important "rule" of sequins? Just have fun with them--whether or not it's a school day. :)

Haha from one sequin lover to another (I have a blog on tumblr called fortheloveofhorsesandsequins.tumblr.com if that's not a tip off!) I love this sweater! I have a black quarter-sleeve cardigan with sequins all over the front that I can wear during the day over a pretty tank top or at night as a cover-up with a dress or skirt. I love it so much! Definitely a staple article if clothing for me!
Love the sequin and sparkly overload! You look fabulous! I like to pair sequin tops with my pencil skirts and a cute little cardi for work or with a pair of boyfriend jeans for casual Friday! No reason not to sparkle everyday!
