Brunch Spots

Had a great brunch this weekend with two of my close friends, Dawn and Ashley. For the occasion, I threw on a breezy polka-dot dress (yes, I'm obsessed with the pattern lately), tossed just the essentials (Clinique Chubby Stick in Super Strawberry, iPhone, debit card) into my teeny new tangerine bag, and headed to Lillie's in Union Square. The three of us have been brunching once a month or so like this ever since we first met as assistants at a magazine [redacted...!] years ago. And though we've all certainly grown and changed over those years--moving up the masthead, and in life--it's nice to know that some things stay the same: Laughing, gossiping, and advice-giving over eggs and Bloody Marys with good friends on a lazy afternoon. Perfection. Here's to many years of Sunday meet-ups to come, girls. :)
