I'm On The Lifestyle Edit Today!

Today I'm featured on The Lifestyle Edit! If you're not familar with it, it's a London-based site, run by the fabulous Naomi Mdudu, that covers career, fashion, beauty, wellness, and more through fascinating interviews with women. (And P.S., the photography is beautiful!)

I'm beyond honored that Naomi chose to include me in this group of smart, successful, inspiring women. We shot these photos, and did the interview, quite a while ago--back in the early fall, during NYFW, in Central Park. When I saw and read through the final piece today, I was floored. What a wonderful feature! I'm truly flattered.

Please, please head on over to check it out. I talk about how I got started in magazines, how I moved up the masthead, what a beauty editor really does all day, the brilliant people who have helped me along the way, how often I wash my own hair (spoiler alert: very rarely), and of course, the very best beauty products around.

Then, please come back here and let me know what you think of the piece. Enjoy!

  1. What a great interview! You have had my dream job... I just didn't realize it was my dream job until after 30. Can't believe it took me that long, I've always been magazine obsessed!

  2. Omg what a great honor! Congrats! I love the piece and the photos are fab!! I was psyched to read your advice on facial wipes, too, as I use them all the time and I'm not too happy with my current brand.

  7. Okay, I got overly excited that you worked for Brides magazine. I'm obsessed with weddings. This was such a great interview. It's neat to learn more about the other bloggers in our Facebook group. It's hard to keep up with them all so posts like this that share a lot of info in one place are my favorite. Very cool!
