Okay, let's just put it out there: Holiday eating and drinking--not to mention holiday stress--can lead to stomach issues. Or so I've heard. I mean, I don't ever have tummy troubles. But you know...I've heard some people do. ;)
The fact is, people get 'em, and no matter how old you get, they can be super embarrassing to talk about. (Uh, apparently.) And the only thing worse than having tummy issues has to be when you're a guest in someone's home and have to drum up the nerve to ask if they have anything to alleviate those...issues.
So don't let that happen to your guests. When we're entertaining this time of year, we tend to focus on the Martha Stewart aspects of it: planning the menu, Pinterest-ing our tablescape, choosing our outfits. We focus on the big things, but when we do, it's easy to forget the little touches that can truly make your guests feel at home--and comfortable. That's why, it's Entertainer-of-the-Year territory to quietly leave a little basket in the bathroom with a few necessities your guests might need or might be embarrassed to ask for. This year I'm including tampons, deodorant, Band Aids, pain relievers, and yep, tummy stuff.
Turns out, BJ's was the perfect spot for this. They had all the brands and products I could have wanted, and I walked out of the store with Tums Smoothies Chewable Tablets, Gas-X Extra-Strength Softgels, and Immodium Multi-Symptom Relief. Best part is that they all came in huge jumbo packs, so I'll have a ton left over after my guests leave. I mean, NOT THAT I'M GOING TO NEED IT, of course. But you know. For the next party. ;)
Because, bottom line: Being a good hostess means never making your guest wonder where the heartburn meds are. (Bet Martha Stewart never told you that one.)
Thank you to BJ's for partnering with me on this post. Are you a BJ's member? If not, here's a cool deal: You can get a $25 gift card just for signing up! Click here for details.

This is definitely just right on time so that people can prepare this ahead of time as Holiday season is really fast approaching and for sure a lot of eating will be present so might as well prepare this one.
These products are great to have on hand when it comes to entertaining guests during the holiday season. I know guests will be relieved as well. I need to stock up!
Over eating and drinking is always the cause. So much rich food. Always good to have these people n hand to help
This is a good basket to have on hand. My husband does have stomach issues, so I need to make one of these for him.
oh my gosh yes ha- def needed to read this for my husband who needs to have a few of these on hand after such a big meal coming up!
Definitely a timtely post because eating and drinking during the holidays can wreak havoc on our GI system. I will keep some of these on hand this season.
I really enjoyed this post. I have to make sure to pick up these products. Especially, with having guest over for the holidays.
We have to have all these on hand at all times. The holiday season is a MUST! WE LOVE THE TUMS SMOOTHIES!
I love those Tums! They were a life saver when I was pregnant.
The holidays are the worst time to deal with tummy troubles. It's important to have supplies on hand for any gastrointestinal distress.
Holiday food makes me feel bloated for sure I am not the only one. it is so important that you have medicine for tummies at home just in case you and your guest may have stomach problem.
This is something my husband needs. Holiday food can really do wreck a havoc in our tummy so it's good to have these.
I need to pick some of these items up. I think the stomach bug has been going around lately around here. I could use these for sure.
OMG, yes, you have to be well prepared during the holidays. So many get togethers, so much food!
The holidays is definitely not the time to get an upset stomach or other issues. I think having a supply of various products for whatever ails you is a great idea.
My little one has been having tummy issues lately and tums have helped her so much. And when I say little, she isn't that little anymore!
