Hi! My name is Alyssa Kolsky Hertzig and I’m a magazine beauty editor in New York City. (To view some of my work, click here!) I spend my days learning about beauty products, testing beauty products, writing about beauty products… Luckily, um, I really love beauty products! (I also squeeze in time to be a mom--I have an almost-six-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son.) I hope that The Sparkly Life gives you a little glimpse into my world—what I wear, what products I love, what products some favorite beauty-industry people love, cool tips and tricks I’ve picked up over the years, and more--all while dealing with the occasional sippy cup dribble and inevitable mess of Goldfish crumbs knocking around my Balenciaga bag.
